Who we are
Empowering Communities.
Inspiring Collaboration. Creating Lasting Impact.
A trusted platform connecting individuals, organizations, institutions, businesses and local governments to turn shared resources into measurable community impact.
About us
Change begins within communities
Impact Nepal is built on the belief that meaningful change begins within communities. We connect individuals, community organizations, institutions, businesses and local governments to collaborate on projects that address local needs and create positive social impact.
Our platform is a space to discover opportunities, exchange ideas, develop partnerships and support community-focused initiatives — bringing different perspectives and resources together so communities help shape the solutions that reflect their priorities.
More than a collaboration platform, it is a growing ecosystem where innovation, partnership and collective action strengthen communities, improve quality of life and contribute to sustainable development. As the founding chapter of Impact Locals, we run 10 programs with model projects in 5+ provinces — every one locally decided, measured and openly reported.
Mission
To enable meaningful collaboration among individuals, community organizations, institutions, businesses and local governments through a trusted digital platform that supports community-led initiatives, mobilizes shared resources, and delivers sustainable solutions that address local priorities and improve lives.
Vision
To inspire a future where individuals, institutions, businesses and communities unite to create sustainable solutions that strengthen communities and improve lives.
Our objectives
Six things we exist to do
Education & digital learning SDG 4
Strengthen public school education and digital learning in underserved municipalities.
Local livelihoods SDG 8
Build local livelihoods through tourism, micro-enterprise, and social entrepreneurship.
Diaspora mobilization
Mobilize the Nepali diaspora as mentors, funders, and knowledge partners — not just remitters.
Clean communities SDG 11/12
Support clean, healthy communities through ward-level environment action.
Open local data SDG 17
Generate open, local-level data and research to guide municipal planning.
National alignment
Align every project with Nepal's 16th Plan, SESP 2022–2032, and local priorities across the 753 local levels.
How we work
Three non-negotiables

The community decides. Wards and municipalities pick the problem; we bring tools and networks.
