Program

Economic Development

Jobs and income at home, so migration becomes a choice — not a necessity.

What we do

Reasons to stay, built locally

Training for jobs that exist, enterprise cohorts that publish results, and routes to market.

  • Skills tied to real demand. Training built around jobs that actually exist in the local economy.
  • Women's micro-enterprise cohorts. Udyami Didi-style groups — 12 months, published profit data.
  • Market linkage. Agri and craft products connected to real buyers beyond the village.

The problem we're solving

Migration by necessity

Unemployment stands at 12.6%, and about 460,000 Nepalis left for foreign work in 2024 alone. Migration should be a choice, not the only option. That takes jobs and income that exist at home.

Our approach

Four steps, then it runs itself

Every project follows the same arc — local from day one, handed over by design.

Map local demand
Which skills and products does the local economy actually pay for?
Train for real jobs
Short, practical courses tied to that demand — no training for training's sake.
Launch cohorts
Women's enterprise groups with seed support and peer accountability.
Connect to markets
Buyers, fair pricing and municipal procurement links.
